Before that she had already worked as a choir vocal trainer with several  choirs.

Driven by the need to conduct choirs herself, she started taking lessons with Paul Valk, followed up in 1998/1999 by an SNK 1 year course Choirconducting for Music masters from which she graduated  with good results.

She then became conductor of several choirs: chamberchoir Abbellimenti, 4 years, Female Choir Cantate Zus en Zo, 2 years, with concerts in Het Concertgebouw,  het Spoorwegmuseum and the  Roze Festival in Utrecht, Academisch Ziekenhuis Utrecht and in several churches.

For her private pupils she regularly conducts solo ensembles from operas, oratorio and choir repertoire.

As a substitue conductor she worked with  Kamerkoor Vianen.

Fokko Oldenhuis invites her regulary to sit in on auditions in his choirs, to judge and help improve the vocal technique of the choirsingers.

In july 2013 she worked as a vocal teacher in the Kurt Thomas course for conductors of all levels.

In the following year, 2014,  she participated in the  Kurt Thomascurcus as a conductor on level C, in which she harvested good results. She was asked to conduct the stringorchestra in the final presentation concert.

In giving workshops Choir vocal training, she can use all of her expertise as a singing teacher, concert and opera singer and choirconductor,  to help individual singers and choirsingers as a group sing more effectively and with more joy. Recently she gave a workshop for  Klein Operakoor Wilhelminapark.
